CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Kids are welcome to join in! We have a ton of fun stuff going on here. We get to learn about the life of Jesus and the Bible while often digging into some games and arts and crafts. We have KidZone on Sunday morning and AWANA on Wednesdays.

OTHER WAYS TO GET INVOLVED!

We offer a ton of new opportunities to get invloved. We are now opening up a new ministry to those who may not have grown up in the church and are curious about small groups. We will be meeting in the Cafe at 11:00AM Saturday mornings to meet and greet. You do not need to bring anything other than yourselves. This is just a time where you can get to know each other and have casual discussion. In the middle of the meeting we will have a very brief open discussion about a particular topic. We look forward to having you join us. It will be an exciting time to meet new people.

LOOKING TO LEAD?

JOIN OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM!

We currently have a staff of amazing leaders; however, we are always looking to have leaders and volunteers join the church. If you have a heart to server and want the chance to give back, this is the program for you. 


We will be holding a meeting this coming Wednesday to talk about the different areas in which you can serve. We are excited to see everyone there. Our ministry is growing quickly and we are loving to see God in us. Please view the qualifications to the right.

  • In order to become a leader at Second Baptist Church you must be at least 25 years or older.
  • Must have volunteered in one of our ministries over the past 5 years.
  • Must devote the time to taking our Leadership Classes
  • Available on the weekends.
  • Have a heart to serve the Lord and lead others to grow closer to God.
